Our double unit is two connecting top-floor condos (with an interior adjoining door). This 4BR/4BA unit provides both comfort and convenience! Each 2BR/2BA unit features a private entrance, a fully equipped kitchen, a private balcony and windows sweeping the ocean side.
The Gulfstream Condos offer direct beach access and amazing coastal sunrises. Amenities include a seasonally heated pool, a hot tub, and convenient gas grilling areas.
Located just north of the Padre Island Seawall, this Gulf-front locale is only minutes from local eateries, fishing spots, and fun things to fill your days!

  We loved the ability to have the connecting condos. I wish the tables seat 6 since that is the occupancy and we couldn't all eat together, had to have some at the bar. 614 couch was awful! You completly fell in when trying to sit. There was no support.

  the staff and process was nice, and the location was great, but the building is showing it's age. e.g. several sliding doors were damaged or mis-aligned so they didn't slide well, the soap dispenser was broken, one cabinet had broken trim, some of the spindles on the deck were loose and some cabling raceway was damaged. at one point during my stay i was resting my elbow on the table while playing a board game. when i leaned forward to move a token the glass table-top shattered. on the plus side, they sent maintenance up to clear away the glass within a few minutes. on the down side, they said they would charge me a damage fee for the defective glass. that said, they never did charge me, so i guess management was more reasonable than the desk staff on duty. on the whole, it was a good experience. i would stay here again. the bathrooms were in good condition and the kitchens were stocked with all the dishes and pans i needed. the pool was a bit chilly, but it was december so that's reasonable. the hot tub was also a bit chilly, but honestly i think i just didn't know how to turn it on and didn't bother to ask the staff.

  Great stay, few needs for future: 1. Fridge has no ice maker. 2. For us seniors, a recliner or two would be a major furniture improvement. The sofa and loveseat cushions are pretty worn out, and it’s almost impossible to get off the sunken sofa.3. Assistance handles are needed for the shower, as the tile floor is pretty slippery, definitely a safety hazard.

  We have stayed in this particular condo several times over many years, and it works great for families. There is plenty of space, lots of bathrooms, and it is easy to put the kiddos to sleep in one unit while the adults enjoy games or visiting in the other unit.

  Check in was a breeze, and the staff were very well mannered. We visit once a year, and GC never disappoints. 614 did have a leak in the roof from the rain, and maintenance was quick to respond. The unit was clean and looked to have a new fridge (614) where we did all the cooking. This spacious area was exactly what our growing family needed, and we will def rebook.

  The shower in 614 was dirty and someone had just cut their hair in it. How did housekeeping miss that? In the same shower, the knot to control the water was missing and a set of vice gribs was the replacement knob. The shower controls in 615 were very loose and ready to fall off. The railing on the balcony of 615 came very loose the first night we were there. It was repaired the next morning but still did not feel safe. On Monday which was our first full day, the pool was closed til after 4:00 for repairs! The hot tub was closed the entire 4 days we were there. The grills all need to be replaced or at least refurbished. Killed a few large water roaches in 614 and a silverfish. Overall, very disappointed in the condition of our rooms and pool area. When I pay as much as I did, I expect much more.

  Every day several times the key cards were deactivated. We kept cellphones away everything office suggested. We worried being out late & could not acrobats coming into property & not being able to get to our condo. One tv in 715 bedroom not working, did not report it. We did report handle on microwave loose. Did not request maintenance to fix just wanted it on record. Other than that a nice place good views. Would like to return if y’all can figure out key card situation that is priority

  We've been going to the Gulfstream Condo's for many many years. Our kids grew up there and now they are grown and have their own families.
  
  It was such a sense of deja vu looking out the windows to the beautiful gulf waters and sandy beaches and seeing our 4-year-old grandson run from building sand castles to the water with an empty pail and back again. He was his mother as a young girl -- our daughter -- doing the same thing "just yesterday".
  
  We've rented several units over the years and they are as described -- the photos are genuine. The views are amazing. The weather is wonderful. And the pool is top notch. It is heated! When the winds blow and it's on the cooler side, the heated pool is marvelous. It extends your time in the pool because it is welcoming. Kids and adults enjoy it and it is much larger than other counterparts.
  
  The staff and maintenance crew are so friendly and courteous and helpful. They always have been.
  
  We've stayed at other vacation spots throughout the years, but always find our way back to the Gulfstream. It's an Old Friend.

  We have been coming to Gulfstream for many years. We've never seen our usual unit so dirty. The floors were not clean. The appliances are in need of replacement and the shower in 614 is made of a tile that cannot be cleaned.
